CLEANDERM® Skin and Wound Cleaning Cloth Purposes of Use: CLEANDERM® is a medical device used especially for cleaning the skin and wounds of patients hospitalized in intensive care units and pre-wounds. It can also be used to clean the mucosal membrane, peri-ocular area, fragile skin and scalp. Hyaluronan is an important carbohydrate component of the extracellular matrix and is found in the skin, joints, eyes, and other organs and tissues. It has linear copolymer structure of simple, repeating disaccharide, which is fully conserved across a large part of the evolutionary tree, indicating its biological significance. The content of Hyaluronan in the skin temporarily rises in the granulation tissue during the wound healing process. It has a water holding capacity of 1000 times its own weight.
CLEANDERM® is a Sodium Hyaluronate and Phospholipid based product. It is used for cleaning the patient's fragile skin and wounds. The formulation of the product also cleanses the skin and injured area, such as aloe vera, allantoin, with its nourishing and moisturizing effect. CLEANDERM® contains low molecular sodium hyaluronate, so it is easily absorbed by the skin. In this way, the product moisturizes the skin by keeping the water of the skin, while the phospholipid substance and others moisturize and protect the skin barrier. The fabric impregnated with Cleanderm® is non-woven and provides soft and gentle cleaning without damaging the skin areas. Cleanderm® helps moisturize the tissues while cleansing the skin. With CLEANDERM® natural moisturizers, cracks and dryness do not occur in body parts. In addition, since it is a phospholipid surfactant, its cleaning effect is also used. It also has a bio-mimetic* effect like the hyaluronic acid used in the formulation.
